JESUS IS COMING: ARE YOU READY?

JESUS IS COMING: ARE YOU READY?

Hell no, we’re not ready?  Are you kidding me!  If the world as we know it were to end today; how many would be calm, smiling, and thankful that the time is here and now?  Let’s cut the bull!

People go to church every Sunday praising our dear Lord.  They cry, get filled with the Holy Ghost, confess their sins to the congregation, and it’s all good.  As soon as services are over the Pastor is screwing a man or woman in his office, ladies are gossiping about an outfit another woman had on, and then they go to buffets and stuff themselves with food until they can’t breathe.

Hmmm!

There are so many “Holy Christians” walking around with judgment sticks.  Yesterday, you were the world’s greatest sinner, went to church, got saved, and now you’re holier than thou.  You criticize all the ones you were running with just a few minutes ago.  Is that really God-like behavior?

In God we trust is on our money. We all know that you can’t serve two Masters.  Money is the god so many of us serve.  We can’t even raise our children or take care of our elders, because we’re so busy chasing that dollar.  We want to be “ballers” on earth even though we know the stories of the glamorous lives we are promised in the next life.  Rich people won’t associate with poor people because we’re beneath them.  Money keeps us from doing what’s right.  We are destroying the planet and money keeps us from doing what we have to do to protect it.

Sex!  Oh let’s talk about sex for a minute…  So many of us are fucking like jack rabbits…  Women have more men running through them than cars at a toll booth.  Men and women have been brainwashed into believing that all men cheat.  “I know you have needs” is the statement made if a woman says she’s celibate.  Children are not getting their proper education but they know if they’re straight or gay in elementary school.  When we are born we learn everything from people around us and our environment.  I myself don’t know what kind of God would put a sexual burden on a baby!  If you’re spending your days focusing on being gay or straight; how can you possibly be focused on God?  I’m just saying.

Tattoos’, dropping it like it’s hot in the club, making all these fatherless children for a check, drugs, domestic violence, racism, money chasing, idol worship, stealing from our neighbors, and just treating each other like shit…

And we think we’re ready for Jesus to return!

People claim to believe that when we die we’re going to our Creator and yet tears are shed.  A child born to broke, uneducated parents in a messed up world is celebrated.  We don’t want to wear condoms because we don’t like the way they feel… Who cares about herpes, HIV, HPV, and other sexually transmitted diseases? Pastors and Priests are molesting children and a married Pastor in Atlanta just got busted for spreading HIV to women in his congregation…

We won’t help others because we don’t want anyone else making money or possibly doing better than we are.  We praise the athletes, actors, and businessmen, then beat them like runaway slaves when we find out they’re not perfect.  We can’t take care of our business because we’re so worried about everyone else’s.
I can honestly say that I’m not ready for Jesus or anyone else to come and shut things down.  I thank God everyday for another opportunity to become a better person.  Unlike many, I’m not brainwashed into thinking I have a going to Heaven free card because Jesus died for my sins… We have free will and the excuse that God knows my heart is not going to fly.  We have responsibilities to ourselves and each other. I often think about our world today and compare it to the times of Moses when his people were acting like “Boo Boo the Fool” while he was up on the mountaintop.

We all need to get it together.  None of us will ever be perfect but we must be mindful of our actions and the things that come out of our mouths.  Several times a day ask yourself if God is pleased with your behavior?  I do that and it makes a big difference.  Are we living to please man or God?
On the “Day of Judgment” I pray that God has a lot of mercy because we’re all going to need it!
